Urgent Care
If your cat or dog shows any of the following signs, please call us immediately. Remember it is often better to have a problem evaluated early on than to have waited too long.
- Eyes: swelling, discharge, redness
- Nose: running,
crusting, discharge - Ears: discharge, debris, odor, twitching, scratching, shaking
- Coughing, gagging, or sneezing
- Irregular breathing, shortness of breath, prolonged
or heavy panting - Vomiting or retching
- Diarrhea or bloody stool
- Straining to have a bowel movement
- Change in urine color, frequency, or amount
- Straining to urinate, dribbling urine
- Change in amount of food intake
- Change in body weight
- Change in water intake
- Change in odor (mouth, skin, or ears)
- Change in behavior (depression, anxiety, sleepiness)
- Evidence of worms, or fleas
- Wounds or bite marks
- Lumps or tumors
- Hair loss
- Biting, licking, or scratching
- Fatigue, lethargy
- Trembling, stumbling, falling
This list is not exhaustive – so if your pet is exhibiting anything that you know is not normal for your pet please call. Sooner is better than too late!
